Looped Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 13, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Looped (the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" and "your" will refer to that organization.
1. Eligibility and Account Registration
1.1 Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
1.2 Account Information
You agree to provide accurate, complete information and to keep your account information updated.
1.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
1.4 Service Communications
By creating an account, you consent to receive transactional emails from Looped that are necessary to operate the Service, including email verification codes, device verification codes, password reset emails, security alerts, and billing-related communications (such as receipts, renewal notices, and failed-payment alerts). These communications are not marketing and cannot be opted out of while your account is active.
2. The Service
Looped is a professional portfolio and networking platform for creators. The Service may include features such as:
- Profiles and public handles
- Media kits published via a public share link
- Free preview kits generated from publicly available information about a social account handle you provide
- Connected social accounts that display verified metrics and audience insights
- The Looped Widget, an embeddable element that displays your stats on third-party sites and pages you control
- Portfolio items ("campaigns" / content cards) you publish
- Discovery and recommendations
- Follows and direct messages
- Media kit and widget analytics
- Browser-based and in-app account recovery (forgot/reset password)
- In-app, push, and email notifications (where enabled)
- Safety features such as reporting and blocking
Certain features are available only on paid plans (see Section 3). We may add, remove, or modify features over time, and the features included in each plan may change; where a change materially reduces the core functionality of a paid plan during a period you have already paid for, we will provide notice and, where appropriate, a remedy such as a prorated refund.
2.1 Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services such as Google (for sign-in), Stripe (for payments), social platforms and data providers (for connected accounts and public-data previews), email delivery providers, and push notification providers. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. Looped is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
2.2 Connected Social Accounts
If you connect a social account (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), you authorize Looped to access read-only account information, performance metrics, content, and aggregated audience insights from that platform on your behalf, through our data providers or the platform's official APIs. You represent that you own or are authorized to manage each account you connect. Your use of connected-account features must comply with the applicable platform's terms of service. You can disconnect an account at any time.
2.3 Free Preview Kits
The free tier of the Service allows you to generate a preview media kit based on publicly available information associated with a single social account handle. You may only generate previews for accounts that you own or are authorized to manage. Preview data is drawn from public sources, is not verified through an account connection, and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. We may refresh, limit, or remove preview data at our discretion.
2.4 The Looped Widget
The Looped Widget lets you embed an element displaying your stats and selected kit information on third-party websites and pages. You may only embed a widget on sites and pages that you own, control, or have permission to modify, and you are responsible for complying with the terms of the platform hosting your embed. Widgets render the information you choose to display; by embedding a widget on a publicly accessible page, you are making that information publicly viewable there. You can remove or deactivate a widget at any time.
2.5 Looped Branding
Media kits and widgets include Looped branding and attribution. You may not remove, obscure, alter, or interfere with Looped branding on any kit, share link, or widget, at any plan level, unless we expressly permit it in writing.
2.6 Metrics and Data Accuracy
Metrics, audience insights, and preview data displayed through the Service are sourced from third-party platforms, data providers, and publicly available information. We do not guarantee that this data is accurate, complete, or current, and we are not responsible for errors originating from third-party sources. You are responsible for the accuracy of any claims you make to brands or partners based on your kit or widget.
3. Paid Plans, Fees, and Billing
3.1 Plans and Pricing
Looped offers paid subscription plans (currently Kit Pro and Looped Widget), billed monthly or annually. Current pricing and plan features are displayed at the point of purchase and on our website. Prices are stated exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise indicated; you are responsible for any applicable sales, use, VAT, or similar taxes, which we may collect where required.
3.2 Payment and Automatic Renewal
Payments are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us (through Stripe) to charge your payment method the applicable subscription fee at the start of each billing period. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or annual billing period, and your payment method will be charged for the next period at the then-current rate, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
3.3 Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings — no phone call, chat, or support ticket is required. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you will retain access to paid features until then, and you will not be charged again. After cancellation, your account reverts to the free tier and any features or content limits of the free tier will apply.
3.4 Refunds
Except where required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise, subscription fees are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, downgrades, or unused features. If we materially reduce the functionality of a paid plan during a period you have paid for, or if applicable consumer-protection law grants you a refund right, we will honor it.
3.5 Price Changes
We may change subscription prices from time to time. Price changes will not apply to a billing period you have already paid for. We will provide notice of price changes before they take effect for your next renewal (at least 30 days for annual plans), and your continued subscription after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before your next renewal.
3.6 Failed Payments and Past-Due Accounts
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry the charge and notify you. If payment remains unpaid after a reasonable period, we may downgrade your account to the free tier or suspend paid features until payment is resolved.
3.7 Plan Limits
Paid plans may include usage limits (for example, the number of connected social accounts or active widgets). You agree not to circumvent plan limits, share a single subscription across multiple users or accounts in a manner not permitted by your plan, or resell access to the Service.
4. Your Content and Rights You Grant Us
4.1 Your Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service, including text, images, videos, and portfolio items ("User Content").
4.2 License to Looped
To operate the Service, you grant Looped a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, sublicensable (to our service providers), and transferable license to:
- host, store, cache, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content within the Service and through your public share link and widget embeds,
- format, resize, encode, and create technical derivatives (e.g., thumbnails) for display and delivery,
- make your public User Content available to other users and to viewers of your kit or widget according to your visibility settings.
This license is for the purpose of operating, improving, and providing the Service and does not give Looped ownership of your User Content.
4.3 Visibility Controls
You can control whether certain portfolio items are public or private/draft, what your published kit displays, and what your widget shows. You are responsible for ensuring that the visibility settings you choose match your intent.
4.4 Removal and Termination of License
If you delete User Content or delete your account, we will remove it from the active Service within a reasonable period, but copies may remain in backups, caches, and logs for a limited time, or where retention is required for legal or safety reasons.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. For example, you may not:
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Generate preview kits, connect accounts, or display metrics for social accounts you do not own or are not authorized to manage
- Upload content you do not own or do not have rights to share
- Post or transmit unlawful, harmful, harassing, hateful, or abusive content
- Exploit, endanger, or sexually exploit minors (zero tolerance)
- Send spam, phishing attempts, or malicious content
- Attempt to access or probe accounts or systems without authorization
- Abuse account-recovery or security systems (e.g., reset links, verification codes, rate limits)
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the Service or extract data
- Manipulate metrics or engagement signals (e.g., coordinated fake views/saves/follows), or misrepresent metrics to brands or partners
- Remove, obscure, or alter Looped branding on kits, share links, or widgets
- Embed widgets on sites you do not control or in contexts that violate the hosting platform's terms
- Circumvent visibility controls, plan limits, or billing, or access private/draft content that is not intended for you
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or data obtained through it without our written permission
We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules.
6. Copyright Infringement and DMCA
Looped respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to our designated agent at: [email protected].
Your notice must include:
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- A description of the material you claim is infringing and its location on the Service (e.g., a URL or screenshot)
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material and notify the user who posted it. That user may submit a counter-notification if they believe the removal was in error. We may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
7. Intellectual Property of Looped
The Service, including its software, interface, logos, trademarks, and design elements, is owned by Looped or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted to you, Looped reserves all rights in the Service.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service or any part of it except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
8. Safety, Reporting, and Blocking
Looped provides mechanisms to report content/users and to block other users. You agree not to abuse these systems (e.g., false reporting or harassment via reporting). We may investigate and take action in our discretion, including removing content or suspending accounts.
9. Termination and Suspension
9.1 By You
You may delete your account at any time through the Service (if available) or by contacting us. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription effective at the end of the current billing period; deletion does not by itself entitle you to a refund except as described in Section 3.4 or as required by law.
9.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, or remove User Content, if:
- you violate these Terms,
- your use of the Service creates risk or legal exposure for Looped or other users, or
- we are required to do so by law.
If we terminate your paid subscription without cause before the end of a period you have paid for, we will refund the prorated unused portion of your fees. We may also discontinue the Service (in whole or in part). Where reasonable, we will provide notice.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOOPED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT ANY CONTENT WILL BE PRESERVED WITHOUT LOSS, OR THAT METRICS, INSIGHTS, OR PREVIEW DATA SOURCED FROM THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS OR PUBLIC SOURCES WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOOPED WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOOPED'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID LOOPED FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Looped and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- your use of the Service,
- your User Content,
- your embedding of widgets on third-party sites,
- your connection of social accounts you are not authorized to manage, or
- your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
13. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
If your local law requires a different governing law/venue for consumer contracts, those requirements may apply instead.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the Effective Date above. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the Service or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. General Provisions
15.1 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15.2 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Looped regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
15.3 Waiver
The failure of Looped to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by Looped.
15.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. Looped may assign these Terms without restriction (for example, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets).
